A collection of humourous short stories set in the fictional Ulster town of Ballygullion. This edition by Penguin Books in pages in paper covers. Wear to dusty covers. Ballygullion Ballads was a book of poetry written by Northern Irish writer Leslie Montgomery published in William Conor provided the illustrations for this and several later editions of the book. Previous to this, Montgomery had written the Ballygullion series, twenty books which fondly caricatured Northern Irish village life.
